Glenn Beck, the unstable B.S. artist who FoxNews has the Audacity of Dopes to call an actual journalist, is back on the air today, after the network forced him to take a weeklong “vacation.” FoxNews’ edict came after an uproar over comments Beck made that Pres. Obama “hates white people,” which resulted in the loss of (so far) 33 sponsors for Beck’s show. It will be interesting to see if Beck dials down the crazy, now that he’s been smacked down.

Meanwhile, more sponsors are said to be readying to drop his show, and now there are rumblings among progressives that someone should organize a campaign to convince sponsors to dump FoxNews altogether. I say why wait till someone organizes a campaign? If you, like I do, feel that FoxNews’ outright, endlessly repeated lies are beyond the pale (that’s as politely as I can put it), then go ahead and contact the network’s sponsors and let them know how you feel.

Huffington Post, which refers to Beck’s program as “psychic exile Glen Beck’s race-baiting carnival sideshow,” today offers a partial but lengthy list of FoxNews’ sponsors for you to choose from. Call ’em, boycott ’em, or both, it’s up to you — after all, it’s a free country. Here’s the list:

  1. BWWWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!

Hold on… I have to catch my breath….

    ……HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    you wish!

  2. you know the sponsors will leave if we can get organized to let them know just how disgusting fox no news is.

fox is best suited for “extends” commercial since that is the part of the anatomy they best represent.

it is time for thinking people to stop being such pansies.

  3. By all means take them down. Capitalism is a democracy and what we choose to purchase or view is our vote. Money talks when it is spent elsewhere. Consumers are the ultimate check and balance and if we choose to make our voice heard, it is through what we support and what we boisterously deny. And though both sides of each issue should be represented, it should be represented truthfully and factually, without fear, lies, hate, and other manipulations. Fox News gets a FAIL in that category and it’s time it got back in check. Then maybe we can start to have a intellectual conversation that everyone can contribute to. Until then.

  4. People don’t watch Fox News for it’s quality. People Watch Fox News because it’s inflammatory. Much like a news version of the Jerry Springer show. It’s entertainment that parades as news.

  5. I always shopped at Lowes….

Home Depot and Lowes are the same distance from my house and I always shopped at Lowes….to support them against the Big Time Home Depot.

I will stop my Business with Lowes as long as there is a Boycott on Glen Beck.

If they knew how much I spend they might think twice about this Boycott.

I will email every friend I have about their Boycott on Glenn Beck and tell them to Boycott Lowes.

    They made a disappointing mistake.

  6. LOL. Yes, I’m sure Lowe’s isn’t worried about their thousands and thousands of other customers, but some redneck who claims that “If they knew how much I spend they might think twice about this Boycott” will single-handedly leave them shaking in their shoes!

  7. Your credibility was lost in your open line… no one on Fox News, Glenn Beck included, has ever purported him to be a journalist. Quit your whining.

  8. Beck was stupid for saying what he did.

I have no compassion for what’s happening.

    you reap what you sow.

  9. “If they knew how much I spend they might think twice about this Boycott.”
    Hilarious!

Anyway, back in the land of reality, I have no interest in “boycotting” a company for advertising on FOX News in general, or even that idiot Beck’s show. I’m not inclined to demand they spend their ad budget on media that I deem worthy, either. What purpose would it serve? It’s not like the show’s sponsors are endorsing what he says. A right-winger’s cash spends just as well as anyone else’s cash, and if there’s someone watching, you market to them. It’s just that simple. If the promotion works, people spend their money with those companies, which leads to profits, economic prosperity, and job creation.

Anyone of even modest intelligence recognizes Beck as a raving lunatic, but there is an audience for raving lunacy, and that’s fine. I see no reason for any company to refrain from peddling their wares to those people.

  10. John Grooms is the real “fake” journalist. He is same guy who said Republicans were making up the Swine Flu concerns too…How come you don’t take a stand on others who say stupid things John…others like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Bill Maher, etc. You are nothing but another person wanting all America offers, without expecting to not get your way on everything. You and your ilk are annoying leeches that do nothing but dumb down our world…go away, please, just go away.

  11. I’m still shopping at lowes, in fact i’m going to pick up some wood and look at some grills there tomorrow.

Beck can sometimes be a lunatic, but like CC says there’s always an audience for craziness, see Maury Povich or Jerry Springer.

I still like his opinions on economic issues, I wish he’d stick with those instead of these ridiculous rants.

  12. Another example of a “journalist” (yeah, like Grooms could ever be a journalist) who is jealous of the success of a competitor, in a sense. This is as pathetic as Keith Olbermann claiming the spot of Number 1 cable news show, while ignoring the SIX other shows, all on Fox News, that kicked his ASS all over the ratings.

Go on and support the boycott. I will make my own boycott, and boycott those who are boycotting. That’s the beauty of a free market! I get to make my voice heard by using my wallet! I am a Beck supporter and thus I will not support those who are Beck-haters, for lack of a better word.

Another swing and a miss for Grooms.
