It’s that time of year when the weather is warming up, trees blossoming and pollen is spreading like a virus. That shouldn’t keep you away from Aquavina’s 5th Annual Wine Festival on the Green. If you are brave enough to endure the outdoors and its seasonal attack on our sinuses, you can explore the depths of your wine palate with more than 100 wines available for tasting. Food will also be provided by several Uptown restaurants, and there will be live music by The Winchester-Brooks Duo. All proceeds benefit the Mint Museum. $25. March 30, 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Aquavina, 435 S. Tryon St. 704-377-9911. www.aquavina.com.
