The Moffett Restaurant Group Celebrates the 20th Anniversary of Barrington’s Restaurant and the Reopening of Good Food on Montford in October.
CHARLOTTE (October 12, 2020) – The Moffett Restaurant Group is marking two special milestones this October, with a big anniversary and the reopening of one of its most popular restaurants.
Barrington’s Restaurant will celebrate its 20th anniversary on October 15, marking an extraordinary achievement in Charlotte’s restaurant scene. Located in the Foxcroft East in South Park since 2000, Barrington’s has gained accolades for its seasonal menu, putting a fresh spin on classics including dishes inspired from chef Moffett’s upbringing in Barrington, Rhode Island.
As part of the celebration, Barrington’s will be rolling back prices on the pan-roasted chicken and chocolate pudding cake to reflect the original menu from 2000. On Tuesday, October 20, Good Food on Montford will officially reopen, featuring a newly styled interior and a refreshed menu that will once again feature globally-inspired and fresh, seasonal small plates for which the restaurant has become known. Good Food on Montford has become a South Park neighborhood favorite, too, having been open for 11 years.
Chef Moffett was careful to include some of the classic dishes that have become favorites among the locals, including the steam buns, green curry mussels, and Korean beef. The menu will also include new items such as pork carnitas, octopus, and fish of the day.
