If so, then this cooking class is the place to be, as Israeli Chef Tany Hashmonay from The Art Institute of Charlotte’s Culinary School shares his secrets on this culinary delight. JULY 20 — Culture and Cookies. Not only should cookies bring you to the museum, but the new Corapeake exhibit should as well. Facilitated tours will guide you through multi-media artist Kendall Messick’s exhibit, featuring his photographs and stories of the African-American people living in Corapeake, along with an “inspiring” cultural documentary film. It will be followed by refeshments, activities for children and story time, which features a reading of How To Take Your Grandmother To The Museum by Lois Wyse. JULY 21 — Wines of Sonoma. Located on the northern coast of California, Sonoma county is one of California’s largest producers of wine grapes. Apparently they even out produce the Napa Valley AVA.
