JUNE 12 — Off the Vine. The first summer event of the new garden series at Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens will feature several varieties of wine for tasting, along with advice from wine experts about what foods should be paired with them. The “Garden Guru” will also be on hand to answer any gardening questions and highlight greens in the garden. Spend your evening relaxing in the garden while the ear-candy of “Uncommon Jazz” featuring LeShan Richardson surrounds you in the Four Seasons Garden.

JUNE 13 — The World Chocolate Tasting Event. This choco-explosion will flaunt more than different chocolatiers and chocolate treats from around the world. Pleasure yourself with demonstrations, tastings, games and presentations by chocolatiers, including Debbie’s Delights, Godiva, Johnson University, The Melting Pot and more. In addition, you can buy your favorite chocolates and enter a chocolate raffle that will benefit International House programs and services.

JUNE 13-14 — GroverFest 2008. It’s time to eat, listen to music and have some Southern fun at Groverfest 2008. The two-day event offers food from Mikes BBQ, Sammson Hotdawgs and other vendors. There will also be a Native Vines Winery tasting. More than 20 bands will perform, including Al Wood & The Smokey Ridge Boys, Little Rascals, Yesterday’s Gravy, From A Seed, Duk Tan, Fat Cabbage, Hot Politics and a whole lot more.
