The Penguin Drive-In will reopen this weekend with a celebration party this Saturday, Jan. 15. The event starts at 11 am and will include live music, giveaways, and “fried stuff.”

One of the “specials” is buy a shirt and souvenir cup and get free pickles every time u come back wearing the shirt..WTF..is this Applebees or Chuckey Cheese?…also a hot dog name The Diamond Dog ( a weiner w/nothing)…REALLY…are we in grade school>!>!>…PLEASE don’t support this pale imposter of the Penguin we know…wait on the guys to open the DIAMOND (hopefully soon)
What a load of crap! I hope this is an ad and Creative Loafing isn’t whoring this bad. How much is the Penguin paying?
I got dragged to the New Penguin by somebody saying, “Be open-minded.” I tried. I am glad the food was crap. The portions were small, my burger bun was stale and the atmosphere had corporate smurfdom all over it.
I will never go in there again.
