Divine Cupcakes and Yogurt Café is now open in Dilworth in Latta Pavilion on East Boulevard (near Picasso’s and across the street from Blockbuster).

The cafe offers cupcakes, muffins, and frozen yogurt with a toppings bar.

On my visit on Saturday, they only had three varieties of cupcakes available, with only less than a dozen of each on display. The entire shop is self-serve, so customers can reach into the cupcake display and grab their own cupcake (without tongs). Not quite sure how sanitary this is. I’m thinking this might be an issue when kids get involved, right?

The yogurt is not the tart variety, yet it isn’t the traditional soft-serve sweet type either. It’s slightly icy and subtly sweet.

  1. Thanks so much for your comments and valid concerns. We are in the process of having an incredible custom-built cupcake case designed to accomodate our variety. We don’t over bake at this point since we only sell what we baked today. In a few weeks we’ll know what our customers like and we’ll blast it up. The wax tissue will be replaced with tongs. We offer one tart yogurt daily and three without the tarty kick. We rotate 40 yogurt flavors so it’ll be ten days of magical tasting before you repeat the same flavors.
Be well, visit us again and again…and watch us grow. Thanks.
