The folks behind Apartment Therapy’s The Kitchn spotted prepackaged hard-boiled eggs at a Trader Joe’s.
Thoughts? Has society become so lazy that we can’t even boil our own eggs?
I’d say, yes. And if I’m in Trader Joe’s and see you with this product in your basket, I will look at you funny. (If only in my head because I sure don’t want to get beat up.)

I’m not sure about lazy. For someone like myself that is self-employed with a hectic work schedule .. these are very convenient vs. eating outside everyday .. healthier and cheaper too. If I had time to cook, I would, but the fact is, is that I don’t. So these eggs are great imo. Just picked up 2 bags yesterday !
Also great for students who live in buildings without actual stoves. So no, its not just because people are lazy, if I could boil my own eggs I would.
I’m just lazy. I have been thinking though. What is done to these eggs to make them last so long? I recently boiled some eggs. Yay me!!!!! But the last two spoiled within a week. I had become accustomed to having the store bought boiled eggs last for weeks.
