• Amélie’s… a French Bakery, 2424 N. Davidson St., is now open 24/7. New onboard are Crystal Dempsey and event promoter Larken Egleston, who will be responsible for Amélie’s nighttime operations.
• Toast Café in Huntersville, 100 Huntersville-Concord Road, is open for dinner from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturdays this summer. The dinner menu includes grilled marinated pork chop with a goat cheese grit cake, and sesame seared tuna with wasabi mashed potatoes. Toast Café in Davidson and Huntersville are open seven days a week for breakfast and lunch.
