The timing of this event couldn’t have been better. Freezing weather makes great soup weather.
The Hospitality Education Division of Central Piedmont Community College is hosting the 10th annual Soup on Sunday on Sunday, Jan. 31 from 11 am to 2 pm.
For the admission of $30, you can taste over 15 soups from the region’s finest restaurants. In addition to soup, there will be coffees from Caribou Coffee, breads from Great Harvest Bread Company, and pottery for sale by local potters and artists.
For an extra $10, you can get the Soup Lover’s Special which includes everything listed above for general admission, plus a handmade pottery bowl to keep.
All proceeds will benefit Hospice and Palliative Care.
Admission for children six and under is free.
