The Second Annual Beards BeCAUSE finale will be held at Amos’ Southend on Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m. If it’s anything like last year’s, you can expect great music, “interesting” entertainment and the option to witness a whole bunch of guys get shaved.
Last year, Truckstop Preachers singer Nathan Palmer proceeded to shave his newly grown beard onstage … while singing … and covering his bandmates in shaving cream.
The Preachers are on the bill yet again along with The Bo-Stevens, Tommy Ray & The Rayguns and headliners The Belmont Playboys. A silent auction will also be held.
Tickets are a $10 donation. Proceeds from this year’s event will once again go to benefit the United Family Services Shelter for Battered Women of Charlotte.
