If you thought Charlotte singer/musician Benji Hughes had been a little quiet since the 2008 release of his critically acclaimed album, A Love Extreme, there’s a reason for it. He’s been busy working on a whole bunch of new music โ€” three albums, to be exact.

Hughes announced via Facebook this morning that there are three new albums available via his website, benjihughesmusic.com โ€” XXOXOXX, OXOXOXOXOX and Songs In The Key Of Animals.

  1. Technically, there are four new albums. LILILIL is the fourth, sold separately from the 3 albums included on the single memory stick available on the website. LILILIL is a concept album that doubles as a children’s album – or at least he wrote it thinking of his daughter. The themes and music are definitely suitable for adults however. It’s probably my favorite of them all, and also is available on the website. Listen for The Dude as narrator!
