Eilen Jewell has a sweet subtlety that makes its way through her lyrics regardless of the genre you might try to pigeon-hole it into. Merging elements of Americana, country, honky-tonk, blues and rock, Jewell’s style is one all her own, giving enough retro feel to harken the old days while containing enough bite to stop it from being boring.
