The second annual concert to benefit Habitat for Humanity will also celebrate the organization’s 25th anniversary.

The event will take place on Feb. 22 at the Double Door Inn from 2 to 11 p.m. Performers are Marsha Ellison & Friends, Rick Spreitzer, Nita B & The Swingin’ Soiree, Angie Medlin with Tom Williams, Federal Brothers, Cattletruck, Willy Evans and Wink Keziah & Delux Motel.

“I think it is necessary to give people hope for positive changes, especially with this economy, and helping build houses for those in need of a home is a very positive step,” said Ellison, a Habitat volunteer who helped organize the event.

Tickets are $5 at the door. For more information, go to doubledoorinn.com.
