Usually, the guys in Iron Cordoba and woman behind Nasty Productions team up for fantastic themed parties that last for hours and are just plain fun in every way. Those same people are getting together again this month, but this time around, it’s for a good cause.

On March 13, from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., Nasty Productions will present “The Curse of the Brawling Irish” St. Patrick’s Party, featuring Iron Cordoba, as a benefit for the N.C. Firefighter Burned Children’s Fund. The event will be held at The Ultimate Gym, behind Fat City, at 401 E. 35th St.

The band is planning to play Irish originals (in their style, of course) along with some parodies and cover tunes — all from inside a boxing ring. There will also be some live fighting from the gym’s fighters and instructors.

DJ Mick’s Masta, Snowfight featuring Christine Navarro and Go-go lasses will also be a part of the event.

Cash is needed for the bar and donations. More information on the NCFBCF can be found at www.ffbcf.org.
