Well, The Eye and Charlotte Observer have been telling people for the last week that Kanye West wasn’t coming to Charlotte. The cover of the Eye last week stated “Kanye’s Not Coming.”
I, on the other hand, was skeptical as the show was listed on West’s Web site.
Now, it’s been confirmed. While West and friends won’t be stopping by Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre (which is what those pubs said), they will be stopping in the Queen City.
Kanye West with Rihanna, Lupe Fiasco and NERD will perform on May 8 at Charlotte Bobcats Arena.
Tickets go on sale March 7 at 10 a.m.
