KATHERINE WHALEN Best known as one of the singers for the Squirrel Nut Zippers, Katharine Whalen is quickly establishing her own path. Touring in support of her solo effort, Madly Love, Whalen’s music is now steeped in ’50s and ’60s style rock, having moved on from her retro-’20s ways of the past.
