Creative Loafing is celebrating the Last Night at the Double Door Inn all week this week with clips of folks who attended the final night bash on Monday.

We caught up with Jackie, a Double Door regular since the early 1980s, in the pool room area at back with a group of friends.

“At one time I was the only little black girl up in here,” Jackie tells us in this clip.

By the time of the Double Door’s closing, that was no longer the case. Not by a long shot.
