For our first special episode of Creative Loafing‘s “Local Vibes” podcast, we filled up the studio following CL‘s publication of an article that confronts a disturbing image posted on FB two years ago by the frontman of a popular Charlotte band. The discussion that followed on Facebook among Charlotte musicians, as well as other recent events across the country, convinced us this was a conversation worth having, and we hope it continues around the Queen City, in music and arts scenes and beyond.

It’s amazing how some of these folks on here are blaming the current administration for the problems we are having now. Last year under the former administration BLM was marching in the streets chanting “What do we want? Dead Cops”. What did we get last year? A whole bunch of police officers assasinated in cold blood, hate crimes. What did Obama do? Well he invited BLM to the White House! Obama inviting people to the White House who called for the death of police is way worse than a drunk guy having fun with a burning pallet made into a cross and making a stupid Facebook comment. But I’m sure no one on this panel see it that way because the media treats Obama like he walks on water when he’s really more like a slithering snake. All over social media these days you see “I wish all white people would die” etc etc. I seriously doubt any of the SJW’s on this podcast make a big deal out of comments like that when they see them because it doesn’t fit their agenda. An agenda brought to you by Elites who are purposefully trying to separate us. The person who brought the Facebook photo to light after 2 years wanted to spread hate against someone he hated, plain and simple. Especially after the tragedy that happened in Charlottesville, that was a super lame move and even more lame of CL to publish it at the time they did. Some of y’all are pointing out the splinter in Robby’s eye and don’t see the 2×4 in your own.
