  1. Gov’t Mule was great, as always, but the Fillmore Charlotte as a venue was severely lacking…let me count the ways: 1. Ticketing was poor 2. Bathroom (singular) was poor 3. Bars/service was awful 4. $9 beers 5. Standing room only for oversold show 6. Poor sound quality

  2. The sound system is one of the best in the country — not sure who you think has better sound.

Bathrooms are huge, clean and plentiful.

I agree the bar service is slow and that $9 is far overpriced for a beer.

The venue will never have seats. Did you expect some?

  3. Nope…I didn’t expect seats and I don’t mind standing a bit… Unless the venue is oversold, the crowd noise overtakes the band, the bars underperform and over-price, etc., etc., which is exactly what happened. Yep, that was a really great bathroom (singular), just not convenient…..pack your lunch if you really have to go. I had high hopes for this place and was extremely disappointed. There are far better venues in Charlotte to see a show.
