The Charlotte band formerly known as Lyra Shines has been reformed and renamed. From the band’s Facebook page:
The Local Traumatic is a 4 piece indie alternative rock band, who was formed by the former band Lyra Shines. After years of writing song after song, and a few line up changes, Lyra realized they weren’t who they felt like they were meant to be. In order to recreate themselves a few things were needed: New Name, New Music, & new mindset. We are very excited for what is to come for this band, and we have much faith in what we are doing. Please come out and support us any chance you get!
