Mary Chapin Carpenter She’s deftly floated between twangy, hoe-down country and perky pop for nearly a quarter century. Carpenter has added another solid album to her collection titled The Age of Miracles, which, again, seamlessly blends pop, folk and country into a sound that’s not beholden to any specific era.
