Nonpoint: The Fort Lauderdale band first caught my eye a handful of years ago when they opened up for Papa Roach at the infamous, and now non-existent, Ziggy’s in Winston-Salem. Singer Elias Soriano has a hell of a primal scream and can get a crowd fired up pretty easily while his dreads whip around with abandon. The band has undergone some changes recently – original guitarist Andrew Goldman was replaced by Zach Broderick, and the band left its label, Bieler Bros.
