  1. “hitting store shelves”….WHAT? Did I just travel back in time to the 1980’s?!?

    Can we get with the times/technology and stop calling it an album. It’s a CD. Nothing nostalgic about a smelly HUGE vinyl disk. Come on! Are you still using a club instead of a hammer?

  2. CDs are on shelves in stores, too, right? And yes, you can get them online in a digital format, too, but the sound quality suffers unless you go for FLAC or some other lossless file type.

    As for an album – “An album or record album is a collection of related audio or music tracks distributed to the public.” Doesn’t mean it’s vinyl.

    Sorry, but if you’re going to be snarky and picky about it, I’ll be snarky back at ya. 🙂
