When it’s a Saturday night and Athens-based rockers The Whigs are in town (at The Visulite Theatre on Aug. 16) you gotta’ get out — “like a vibration.” Solid, rusty garage rock that crosses over into ’70s rock ’n’ roll, grunge and indie music territories is hard to find these days, but The Whigs do it right.
