It was announced today that MTV’s TRL will be leaving the air after 10 years.
Good riddance! The network that has all but abandoned music on television is getting rid of one of their only music shows, but also one of the worst out there.
That’s what I like — watching screaming teenagers idolize talentless hacks. I’d probably be disappointed if the show ever had good music on it. In this case, it’s just another way to get all the garbage off of mainstream media.
See ya, TRL! I won’t miss you a bit!
