It’s that time again — retro music, hot cars, tasty barbecue. The annual Rockabilly BBQ swings into Puckett’s Farm Equipment on June 7 for hours of great music and food.
Promoters Mark and Lisa Cline have done an amazing job building the festival from an evening event to a full-on, day-long festival. The N.C. chapter of the Speed Kings car club will host the car and bike show for pre-1970s vehicles.
This year’s bands are Slip and the Spinouts, Psycho DeVilles, The Bo-Stevens, The Tremors, Jem Crossland and the Hypertonics, Kings of Hell, The Straight 8’s and Lords of the Highway.
The event is free until 4 p.m. at which time only those 18 and up are allowed to enter, with a fee.
