It’s that time of year when all of the grease and gams flock to one location for a long day of music, cars and barbecue as the Sixth Annual Rockabilly BBQ hits Puckett’s Farm Equipment on June 6.

Starting at noon, the Speed Kings Kustom Car & Bike Show takes place outside of the venue until 4 p.m. while two bands perform. That part of the day is free (car registration is $10 — details at rockabillybbq.com) while inside, there’ll be plenty of bass-slappin’ and revved up rockabilly to fill your needs.

The bands performing at this year’s event, which is organized by Mark and Lisa Cline, are Rocket 350, Straight 8s, Highway 13, Jem Crossland & The Hypertonics, The Tremors, The Bo-Stevens, Johnny Carlevale & The Rollin’ Pins, Hells Fire Sinners, Tommy Ray & The Ray Guns and Kitty King & The Whistlin’ Skulls.

A pre-party will be held on June 5 at Puckett’s featuring Kings of Hell and the Arkansas Barking Spiders for $5. Tickets for Saturday are $15. For more information, go to rockabillybbq.com.
