Tenacious D will perform at the Fillmore Charlotte on June 26. The band, comprised of Jack Black and Kyle Gass, is touring in support of its upcoming album, Rize of the Fenix, set for release on May 15, 2012. Tickets go on sale on Friday, March 30, at 10 a.m.
The band released a video for the first single from the album, “To Be the Best.” It’s a six-minute romp that tells the “story” of Tenacious D from the pathetic showing of the movie The Pick of Destiny to the reunion of the band.
