We’re currently accepting submissions for the second edition of their CD series entitled, Creative Loafing presents Jeff Hahne’s Homebrew.
The 12-track CD, the Summer Stash 2008 edition, will be a collection of independently released music from the Charlotte area. Featuring a bit of every genre that’s heard around the Queen City, the artists featured will have released music in the first half of 2008.
Submissions should be sent to music editor Jeff Hahne via email or the U.S. postal service in the form of an mp3 or CD for consideration, by the end of July.
The next edition of the CD will once again be mastered by Rob Tavaglione for Catalyst Recording in Charlotte, N.C. It will be distributed at local music stores, at local concerts and at a CD release party that will be planned for August. More details on that, coming soon!
