Rumors are swirling around the ‘Net today that the rest of the Van Halen tour has been cancelled.
The reason, some are speculating, is that it’s because of Eddie Van Halen’s condition — leading to rumors of alcohol or drug use — because of his ex-wife’s current book tour about their marriage.
I would have guessed it would have been a rift between DLR and Eddie first…
Update: Billboard is reporting that the tour is still a go…
Update 2: LiveNation just sent out an email stating: “The Van Halen concerts in Dallas, Cincinnati, Raleigh, and Baltimore have been postponed. According to Eddie Van Halen’s physician, he is undergoing a battery of comprehensive medical tests to determine a defined diagnosis and recommended medical procedures.”
Eddie’s smoking — for someone who has had cancer — probably not the best idea…
