With two editions of the Homebrew CD under our belts, it’s about time to work on the next one. We’re currently seeking submissions for the third CD, due out this summer.
The CD is for music that was independently recorded and released between September of 2008 and May of 2009 by artists living within a 30-mile radius of Charlotte. All genres are welcome.
As with previous editions, the CD will feature 12 tracks — one by each band selected and a CD release party will be held featuring some of the bands that are on the disc.
The CDs are passed out for free at local shows in an effort to bring more awareness to the talent that exists all over the Queen City area.

The deadline for submissions is May 31.
