Willow Smith – Next child star?

Will Smith’s 9-year-old daughter has signed a record deal with Jay-Z. Her first single, “Whip My Hair,” has hit the Internet and tons of people are listening… unfortunately.

First off, shouldn’t a 9-year-old be focused on school and getting an education before worrying about a record deal?

Second – I’ll admit she hits some notes and has a decent voice and the song shows maturity for a 9-year-old although the “whip my hair” chorus is freakin’ annoying. I’m 99 percent sure that there’s no way in hell that a 9-year-old wrote the song, either.

Thirdly – can’t Will and Jada just let their kids be kids instead of sticking them in the limelight?
