David Barron is a UNC Charlotte graduate and an intern at Mistri Hardaway Architects.
1) Music: “The only thing I don’t listen to is punk and heavy metal.” Some of his favorites are the Allman Brothers and Pink Floyd.
2) Books: His favorite book is Wild Heart by John Eldredge. “It’s a story about finding yourself and listening to your inner voice — it’s a great read for the soul.”
3) Travel: “I drove from the Washington coast all the way down to San Diego, and there was so much to see. There is a certain calming beauty in the landscape, and the coastline is so different from the East Coast.”
4) Movies: “Movies were my babysitter when I was a kid so I’ve seen ’em all.” He loves Talladega Nights, Eurotrip, War of the Worlds and Fight Club.
5) Career Influences: “I admire [architect] Lebbeus Woods for his ability to take parts of the city that have been lost and revive them.”
