The season’s holidays are not usually about career, but this year may be different for the Goats. A favorable business deal, agreement or contract may be in the works in the background, even as you celebrate in the foreground. It is possible a Sagittarius or a Scorpio is in the business picture.
For All Signs: The winter solstice this year was on the 20th at 9:01 am EST. This is the theoretical point of deepest darkness in the northern hemisphere. Ancients celebrated the “return” of the Sun within a few days following the solstice, when it became apparent that it would, indeed, return. On Hanukkah and Christmas we celebrate the light that never quite goes out inside, no matter how dark it may seem. Aries: Plan to work and play alone early in the week. You likely will be feeling restless and generally tense. Your patience could be short and you might say things you’ll wish you hadn’t. You have a desire to break free from restraints. It is a short transit. Look for a way to handle this energy with moderation.
Taurus: This holiday season will be one for making positive memories. Venus is strong in your horoscope now, and she brings special gifts, along with romance and a fun social life. Make yourself available to try new social situations. You will meet new people and enjoy the activity.
Gemini: With or without the holiday, this is a highly social week for the Twins. People and phone calls are coming and going every day. Your relationship(s) make you smile, and your heart is full and satisfied. Those who are handling business affairs will be making favorable agreements and contracts.
Cancer: The pace is hectic and may feel fragmented through the 23rd. Then everything begins to flow like silk through the holiday. You will feel especially close to your partner and other family members. It will be one of those holidays you will be glad to remember.
Leo: This is the time of year in which you try to do too much, take care of everyone, and often forget to include yourself in the equation. Now is the time to check with your internal sensors. Is it truly necessary to handle every last detail? This holiday brings gifts of beauty or special guests to the table.

Scorpio: Drive and handle tools carefully early in the week. Exercise judiciously. You are likely to be edgy and irritable, thus making an accident of some kind more likely. As the week moves onward, you will feel better and your overall energy becomes smoother.
Sagittarius: This week is loaded with phone calls, errands, and making multiple social and business arrangements. Contracts may be in the picture. Aspects are favorable for partnerships and agreements of all kinds. You are preparing your launch pad for 2007’s new plans.
