Major Expansion Planned at Rē Salon and Med Spa

Charlotte’s premier salon, spa, and medical spa will offer expanded wellness services, along with their current services, in a newly renovated building adjacent to the historic firehouse the business has called home for over a decade

(Charlotte, N.C.) After more than a decade providing premier salon, spa, and medical spa services in South End, Rē Salon and Med Spa is preparing for a significant expansion, bringing new wellness services to Charlotte in a facility next door to the salon’s historic location.

The expansion is expected to be completed in the fall, adding a multitude of wellness options for clients of the salon and spa, bringing something exciting to Charlotte.

“Since 2010, we have seen an immense need to bring wellness services to our clientele in Charlotte,” said Rē Salon and Med Spa owner Marcel Stark. “The potential is enormous, and we are pleased that we will be able to offer a variety of health-focused services alongside our highly sought-after beauty and spa treatments.”

In the new space, medical professionals will provide services including IV Therapy, Cryotherapy, and Oxygen Therapy, while the facility will offer Infrared Sauna Therapy, Weight Loss Support, and so much more.

“What we are trying to create is a one-stop-shop for beauty and wellness on our new campus,” Stark said. “By the end of the year, we will be open and providing some of the best medical-grade health and body solutions, alongside our coveted spa treatments.”

The new building was previously the Eye Care Center and is located steps away from their current location within a Charlotte landmark.

Since 2010, Rē Salon and Med Spa has occupied Fire Station No. 2, locally known as The Old Dilworth Fire Station, the oldest fire station in the city.

“The new space perfectly complements the aesthetic of the firehouse and builds upon it,” Stark said, “We love being able to bring new life and energy into these historic buildings and look forward to introducing more Charlotteans to come and experience a little bit of Charlotte’s history, while taking advantage of both our new and long-standing favorite services.”
