CHARLOTTE, NC – (December 30, 2021) – Portman Residential, a real estate development company affiliated with longstanding Atlanta-based Portman Holdings, announced today they have closed on land located at 2120 South Tryon Street, Charlotte, North Carolina. The land was purchased in partnership with an institutional investor.

Located in Charlotte’s thriving South End submarket, the 1.9 acre project will include multifamily and retail. The South End submarket is well known as Charlotte’s top neighborhood for walkable urban living and a curated restaurant scene. The LYNX Blue Line Light Rail, Charlotte’s dynamic 18.6-mile rail line and walking trail, acts as the “spine” of the area.
