You may be somewhat disappointed with the development of a work or career project at this time, particularly if it began during January 2007. Creative work has a way of taking on a life of its own, and sometimes it does not match the original vision of the artist.
For All Signs: This week’s cosmic item is the 90-degree angle from Jupiter to Uranus. Classical astrology interprets this as a “sudden break for freedom.” It sometimes brings unexpected opportunities for change, but we must use our best judgment on whether the change is favorable for the long haul. Many of us will be drawn to create change for its own sake, which may not be for the best. This particular cycle originated with the conjunction in February 1997, and events of the present time may represent the flowering of an undertaking that was initiated then. This influence began in January and ends in October. This week is the middle of the three angles between these two planets. Choose your changes wisely!
Aries: Your energies are high and you can accomplish a great deal of work now. Hold in mind that you are the one with the energy, so don’t critique others if they can’t or won’t match it. Avoid antagonizing those in power during this period or you may lose a battle, even if you deserve to win.
Gemini: Mercury travels through your sign between May 11 and 28. During this period there will be greater emphasis on communications, errands and other short distance travels. Your mind will be quick and your attitude persuasive. You are loaded with ideas.
Cancer: Venus entered your sign last week and will be traveling “with you” through June 4. Her presence gives you an air of poise and beauty, and people will simply like how you look. Often when Venus is prominent we become more interested in art.
Leo: This is a time in which you may be somehow making up for the failures or the drawbacks of a partner. You want others to see the best in him or her and you hope to shift the focus away from anything that may seem to you not up to a certain standard.
Virgo: Your attention turns toward your life direction at this time. For many this is reflected by the career path. You may be researching needed information or talking with others about your direction. You are headed for significant changes toward the end of 2007 and through 2008. Now is the time to prepare.
Libra: Venus is your ruling planet and “she” represents your cooperative and affable personality, along with your attraction to beauty in all its forms. Between May 8 and June 4, she is traveling through the sector which is related to home, property and family matters.
Scorpio: This is not the best week for mechanical objects. Breakage or failures are highly possible. Your reflexes are strung too tightly, so make an effort to relax muscles and concentrate on steady but consistent forward motion.
Sagittarius: You may be feeling a restless itch to move or change living spaces. Moving is expensive, so be sure that you can afford it and that you really want the new place before you tie up resources in the commitment. It is possible that you have a home but want to be freed from its responsibilities.
Capricorn: You and a significant other may need to have a clear discussion about your expectations of one another. You are tempted to shovel things under the rug right now, but that will serve only to cause you to feel isolated and disconnected from your partner.
Aquarius: You are probably wishing you could take off for an unknown island. Give yourself some extra freedom at this time. Read a good romantic novel or watch some movies that take you away from all the mundane reality of your life. If you can do it, a vacation escape for a few days would be wonderful.
Pisces: Your restless energies may be fantasizing a change of jobs or work locations. It is possible that what you really need is a shift of schedules or a refreshment of your usual career tasks. You clearly do not want anyone to tell you what to do right now.
