While the Sun continues its path through your sign, notice how its warmth is bringing inspiration into your life. We have experienced the annual cycles so often that we may not really pay attention to the new “birth” heralded by one’s birthday.
For All Signs: Pluto is at the cusp of Capricorn and will be a major cosmic force for the next 16 years. We each need to do what we can to stem the tide of Big Business tyranny over the next decade. Become as independent as reasonably possible from institutions and corporations. Take any steps, however small they seem, to preserve your independence and self-sufficiency. None of us is immune to the zeitgeist of the time in which we live, but we can stay awake and adopt behaviors that reinforce our personal freedom.
Aries: Early in the week, Mercury (communications, travel) and Venus (love) are at war with your planetary ruler (you). This fades from view, and on March 4 your attention will be shifting. For several weeks you may be managing a physically heavy project concerning personal property.
Taurus: It is necessary that you give attention to an issue of control that threatens to split one or more of your relationships. Either one of you may be the one who is seeking power, and it may be quite subtle. You may be attempting to get what you want through manipulation. Don’t pursue this.
Gemini: Irritability and a tendency to short temper may be your companion this week. Beware the temptation to obsess over minor issues. Take especially good care of your body at this time. You are in a physically low cycle and subject to accident or minor injuries with tools, or vehicles.
Cancer: Mars will be traveling with you for two months. This energy is best used to handle physically heavy projects or take initiatives that you might not otherwise tackle. If you are not choosing to deal honestly with this assertive energy, the common side effects are irritability and infections.
Leo: There are occasionally moments in life when we are focused upon contemplation of the deeper topics in life. Why am I here? What is my purpose? Do I take action based upon my principles or am I adopting the values of someone else? Taking stock periodically brings a stronger sense of direction.
Virgo: It has required many weeks, but you are developing definite clarity about the irritation you’ve experienced in your daily workplace or with co-workers. You do need to define your boundaries. Think carefully about presenting your piece in a way it can be accepted.
Libra: This is a time that will test the meddle of your relationships. Dormant or hidden tensions that are gnawing at the edges of any relationship are likely to become apparent now. Make an effort to recognize the difference between ego conflicts and genuine difference of opinion.
Scorpio: You have some toughie relationship energies at hand. You must stay awake to your consciousness to handle them successfully. Do not allow any conversation about ideas to become a personal issue for you and beware of motive, both your own and those around you.
Sagittarius: You are looking around you and taking stock of things and clutter in life. What is it that you really need? Wouldn’t your environment feel dramatically better by keeping only that which is truly important?
Capricorn: You may feel a sense of urgency and pressure to spend money on behalf of your life’s work. Think about your long-term goals before investing. Is the expenditure still on your priorities list?
Aquarius: An intense experience within a relationship has a purpose. You are asked to search deep inside yourself for your contribution to the difficulty, own it, and confess it. Healing will be the result for you and probably the Other.
