I DID WHAT?: A scuffle broke out at Amos’ Southend between a patron and bouncer. According to the bouncer, the wasted patron was asked to leave after climbing onto the stage during a performance. The patron resisted the escort out of Amos’, spinning around to try to free himself of the bouncer. He grabbed the cigarette machine and stubbornly refused to relinquish it before being dragged down to the floor. The man chipped his front tooth on the ground. He denies climbing on the stage and is requesting documentation of the incident.

KIDDIE CRIME SPREE: Carowinds reported the theft of a $200 giant stuffed animal from a game booth, but the report failed to mention the breed of said animal. In a separate incident, A 27-year-old man reported that his house had been broken into. Unknown suspect(s) entered the residence by breaking a window. The only items reported missing were some model cars.

NO SHIRT, NO FRITOS A shopper entered a Tuckaseegee Road convenience mart, intending to do his shopping sans shirt. The store clerk gave him the old “no shirt, no shoes, no service” line, which upset the topless shopper. Before exiting the store, he told the clerk, “I will kill you.”

MORE LIKE DISTURBANCE DRIVE: At 12:20am, a suspect attempted to break into a home. After shattering the victim’s front right window, the suspect was stopped by the activated alarm and barking dog. The foiled break-in occurred on a street called Peaceful Way Drive.

19TH CENTURY CRIME: Unknown suspect(s) pried open the trailer behind a man’s Providence Road home and stole a barrel.

THREAT OF THE WEEK: A cell phone war was waged between two men. An angry cell-less man approached a man he believed had wronged him in some cell phone scheme. The aggressor stole the man’s cell phone, then said: “I know where you live. I have your number. If you don’t give me the $20 for your phone I’m going to come beat your ass.” The joke will be on the thief when he calls the victim, and the phone goes off beside him.
