CLASSY LADY: An employee at a Harris Boulevard Food Lion said a woman entered the store, strolled to the alcohol aisle and put two 22-ounce beers in her pocketbook. She then tried to leave the store without paying for the beers, but was stopped at the door by the employee. The woman then turned over the beers and was arrested at the scene.

ROAD RAGE: A 24-year-old woman got in an altercation with a female suspect while driving down a Charlotte road. The woman accidentally cut in front of the suspect while driving, causing the suspect to get angry. When the woman pulled her car into a parking lot, the suspect pulled in behind her, jumped out her car and starting attacking the woman.

CREATIVE LANDSCAPING: A 51-year-old man said someone tore up his lawn by driving a vehicle onto his property and doing doughnuts in his yard. He said this is the second time the incident has occurred and he has no idea who is responsible.

happy to be nAPPING: An employee at The Greater Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church said a man broke into the church in the early hours of the morning by smashing a side window. Once inside, the man ate food from the kitchen and took a nap on the couch.

battle of the non-network stars: A 35-year-old woman and her live-in boyfriend were in the middle of a break-up and were moving out of their joint apartment. The woman was at work when her boyfriend was moving his stuff out of the apartment. When she returned home, she noticed her TV was gone. She called her boyfriend and told him to return the television, which she rented from Rent-A-Center, but he refused to do so. She said the television was rented in her name and he hasn’t made any payments on it.

THREAT OF THE WEEK: A 31-year-old man said he received several threatening calls from a long-time foe. The most menacing call came when the man said, “I already paid someone to kill you, enjoy your last two days alive.”
