HELLUVA GOOD DOUGHNUT: After a mother and daughter became involved in
a fight over a doughnut, the daughter stabbed her mother in the face with a
metal fork. The police report indicates the daughter refused to talk to authorities,
and the mother refused medical treatment, although she indicated she plans to
take out a warrant on her daughter.
WHO CAN IT BE NOW: While at a friend’s house, a woman was terrorized
when her estranged boyfriend showed up and started banging on the windows and
doors demanding she come outside and face him. He also called the woman’s cell
phone multiple times and threatened her with bodily harm.
WHITE FRIGHT: A concerned mother called police after her daughter received
a phone call in which the caller said “Fuck you, you little white bitch, you
ho. I am coming to your house or your school and beat your little white ass
and kill you and your family.”
SCROOGES AT LARGE: In two very un-Christmas-like incidences, a woman
called police after she discovered someone had stolen from her front yard two
Christmas reindeer decorations. In another case, a woman alerted police after
discovering someone stole her wreath and cut holes in her patio chair covers.
THANKS FOR THE RIDE — AND THE CAR: A man told police that he picked
up a hitchhiker and for some reason drove back to his residence. Upon arrival,
the hitchhiker grabbed the keys out of the ignition, forced the victim out of
the car, and drove away.
SCHOOL DAZE: Two Charlotte middle school students got into a fight during
lunch in the school’s “no hit zone” (as opposed to a hit zone?). Several other
students jumped in the fray and dozens of school administrators were needed
to break-up the fracas.
WHEN LOVES TURNS UGLY: While walking near an apartment complex, a woman
spotted her ex-boyfriend. Apparently things ended poorly between the two former
sweethearts, for the woman pulled out a box cutter she had in her pocket. The
boyfriend grabbed the box cutter away from his former flame, cutting the woman’s
hand and fingers in the process. Still not satisfied, the man then cut the woman’s
shirt down the middle, then removed his belt and struck the woman about the
face and back with the buckle.
