Aries The Ram (March 20-April 19)
Hooray! Your ruling planet is Mars and it is turning direct. It will take a few weeks to clear out the briar patch that it has caused, but at least you can begin to move forward now. One double-Aries I know said to me, “Vivian, I have never worked so hard to stay in one place in my life.” That time is soon to be over.
For All Signs: Mars, the planet of the ancient god of war, turns direct this week on the 13th. It went retrograde on Jan. 23, and since that time many of us have been experiencing a sense of suspension in one area or another. It has been especially stressful for those with natal planets in Virgo. During the retrograde cycle, we are often detoured from taking significant external action. Though we may experience the delays as frustrating, the purpose of the time is to struggle with inner boundaries before expanding or claiming new outer territory. When we force the issue and push through in spite of obstacles during the retrograde, we often discover later that the offensive has proven too costly in some way. As Mars turns direct we will find resolve to roadblocks experienced in recent months or will realize we didn’t really need to take the proposed path in the first place.
Taurus: Your best bet this week is to keep a low profile. The Powers that Be are not in your favor, so expressing an opinion is probably not a good idea. You may be experiencing an emotional droop, but this is temporary. Feelings come and they go. Just notice them and know they will vaporize.
Gemini: You may be taking a sober look at one or more relationships. Even the very closest friends cannot know each other from the inside. Sometimes we forget this fact and need to become aware that we are actually separate beings, helping when we can. Sometimes our energy is too low to be there for one another.
Cancer: Something fresh and unique is crossing your radar screen at this time. You may have an opportunity to improve your everyday work routine through the use of a high-tech gadget. Things improve for those who have rental properties. If you need services, you will find the right person(s) for the job.
Leo: This is a week of scrutiny. It is possible that you are being tested now. You will get what you deserve. If you have prepared well, you will win the prize or the honor. You may have begun a challenging project during the fall which is now ready for unveiling and evaluation.
Virgo: Your sign, above all others, will be relieved by the Mars change to direct (see lead paragraph). After cleaning up the debris of the past three months, you will be ready to move forward and take initiative. If you have been ill, you will soon be better. Certainly, you will be freer to move around in your world.
Libra: You are a sign that wants everyone to be happy. But this is not the week to make that happen. There are likely to be requests, if not demands, from more directions than you can imagine. You will have to prioritize and do the best you can. Don’t become short with people. Explain your situation and most will understand.
Scorpio: Give attention to the lead paragraph. Mars is an important planetary ruler for you, and the first quarter of this year has not been pretty. You have been caught in a conundrum of money and resource issues. Now that Mars is direct, you can begin to pick your way through the mire and move forward.
Sagittarius: Love life is looking good. The stars are with you. This is a good time to purchase a lottery ticket. You have a desire to go to new places and seek out new friends. Now is the right time to do it. You may be enjoying play with a new, high-tech gadget. Children are a pleasure.
Capricorn: Last fall, you began a new project in relation to your work in the world. You knew it would take some time to develop, but you felt it was worth the effort. During this period, you will have feedback from others on the worth of that idea. You have worked hard so this is probably a success.
Aquarius: Aspects are not the best for the Waterbearers at this time. You may feel isolated or as though no one around you can possibly understand who you are. In some way, life circumstances may be preventing you from communicating. Turn off the inner critic and make peace with yourself.
Pisces: This is a powerful time to consider your spiritual purposes. It is all too easy for the Maya, the things of the world, to overwhelm every waking minute, leaving no time for the higher goals. If you notice fatigue, disappointment or depression at this time, stop. Be still and listen for the Voice deep within your soul.
