Sagittarius The Archer (Nov. 22-Dec. 20)
During this week you may be dealing with projects that you thought were long since done. Somehow they crop up again to be corrected or repaired. “Going back” or “doing over” is not your favorite gig. An Archer always wants to be moving forward to the next thing.
For All Signs: Mercury, the planet that rules communications, common business practice and travel, turns retrograde on Dec. 10 and will remain so until Dec. 30. During this period it is best to avoid finalizing major decisions or signing contractual agreements. Seemingly good ideas are often discovered later to have flaws or missing information. Big projects that are begun during the cycle often cannot be completed until several months later, at the next retrograde. (Don’t put a piece of property on the market now! It will likely be slow to sell.) The cycle is most beneficially used to complete old plans, gather information on proposed ideas and reflect on past progress. It is meant for gestation and introspection, the dark and quiet time needed for new seeds to take root.
Aries: During the next six weeks your attention will be drawn to career and life direction. Activity in the outer world picks up speed. Authorities and others may be challenging, so have your ducks in a row if you take initiatives. Use this time to improve your “product” or your presentation.
Taurus: You have the opportunity during this period to expand your social territory. You may also be experiencing gifts and benefits offered to you from others. This generosity, in turn, is absorbed into your psyche and you want to share with those in your life who have been important.
Gemini: Irritability and a tendency to short temper may be your companion this week. Beware the temptation to obsess over minor issues. Take especially good care of your body at this time. You are in a physically low cycle and subject to accident or minor injuries with tools or vehicles.
Cancer: You feel particularly energized and talkative this week. You and your significant other may have plans that involve physical activity, as well as conversing with special friends or family members. Share the care taking part with others so you will not wind up feeling overburdened.
Leo: This is a particularly good time to be communicating with lovers or children. You are in the mood for play and perhaps even word/card games. Creative Lions can write prose or poetry fluidly and freely now. It won’t be a finished work of art, but you can tweak it later.
Virgo: Your ruling planet, Mercury, has turned retrograde in your 5th solar house of lovers. You may want to take a step back from what has been a potentially budding relationship while you evaluate. Those with children may experience a three-week siege of their regressing to earlier stages. Things normalize in January.
Libra: This is a very good time to communicate with family members and those very close to you. The environment and circumstances each contribute to allowing things to be said honestly, without fear of rebuke or attack in any form. New agreements and understandings can be created.
Scorpio: You are hot and heavy on the trail of an educational process. Your concentration is good, and you are determined to score well on this endeavor. You have the support of your partner and probably others in this endeavor. The world around you wants you to succeed, and you are persistent enough to do it.
Capricorn: Mars has moved into your sign, complicating what was already a complex horoscope. The Mars energy adds a note of urgency to all matters. Projects that can be completed in a few hours will work, but long-term plans need to move slowly now, while Mercury is retrograding in your sign.
Aquarius: You have absolutely no new aspects this week, so it’s likely nothing notable will happen. The main thing to beware of is that Mercury is retrograding in your solar 12th house. This suggests that some of your thinking may be dark or unnecessarily self-sabotaging. If you catch yourself, get up, move and go do something else.
Pisces: Mercury has begun to retrograde in the territory that concerns friends, organizations and community contacts. You may be having difficulty bringing things to fruition or conclusion in any of these areas. Perhaps you are compelled to put previously made plans on hold. Resolution comes by year end.
