The cursed corner that was once Menage, then Hom, has had an Asian invasion and is now Fiji & Kashmir.

Now you can “Feast” at Fiji Sushi Bar and Lounge.

And where Liv used to live is going to be an upscale nightclub, Kashmir.

Kashmir is slated to open in two weeks and Fiji in mid-August. Meanwhile, the attic of the old Hom — Play — is still for lease

“This is a reinvention of the 5th Street Corridor” says owner Chandler Alan Beal with Bar Concepts Inc. who is also remodeling Indochin Grill and transforming it into an ultra-lounge serving Asian tapas and cocktails, such as Asian infused teas, until 2 a.m.

  1. Hi Brittney,

As the owner of Kasmir and Fiji I would like to rectify the error that was made when publishing this ad. I would like to clarify that Chandler Alan Beal is the current General Manager for Fiji and Kashmir and Redino Rezzoli and myself, Elibeth Rezzoli, are both the current owners of the restaurant and lounge. I do, however, thank you for your marketing ads; our forecasted opeing date is mid September. Should you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us at (704) 372-1212. Thank you!

  2. Even though I have no clue of the current sentiment, with all the panic going on the drop may last a little longer yet, especially with people being all so negative about the GE.

  3. Oh Lord, I worked there for 2 weeks and had to quit. I was so embarrassed. The wife was a total B and the owners would drink all the time and fight in the restaurant, in the club downstairs, and even in the street. All in front of the customers. They had no clue what they were doing. Kyle was sweet and tried to hold things together. Chandler was the consulting guy who built and opened the place. It was a gorgeous palce but after he left it was all downhill.
