Free parties this weekend

I don’t know about you, but my bank account is still hurting from holiday shopping. But that’s no reason to sit at home eating ramen noodles and drinking tap water to avoid paying cover charges at the club. Here are some places you can hit up that are guaranteed to not hurt your wallet.(Of course, this is just a small list. Do you know of others? Leave ’em in the comments section.)

• Weekend party at Dixie’s Tavern. No cover and $2 Miller Lites, with DJs XJ4000 and Fat Kid. (Friday and Saturday)

• FROLIC- Presented by Talk of the Town at Apostrophe Lounge with DJ DR. No cover and drink specials. (Friday)

• (Definition of Beauty) Model Search at Prevue. No cover, free food and $4 drink specials. (Friday)

• Flirtatious Fridays at Tempo. Everyone free until 11 p.m. $5 premium, $4 house, $3 Martinis, $2 Imports, $1 domestics and half price bottles of champagne. (Friday)

• Elonzo, Perry Fowler, and Erika Blatnik at Common Market. No cover. (Saturday)

• Dance party at Tutto Mondo. No cover, with DJs Your Dirty Habit and Starkey. Cheap but strong drinks. (Saturday)

• Make it Reign Sundays at Club Reign. No cover until midnight. Hosted by Power 98’s No Limit Larry. $3 shooters, $6 Grey Goose. (Sunday)
