The Captain’s Beardaversary was held on June 28, 2012, at Growlers Pourhouse as a fundraiser for Beards Because, who have been helping the Battered Women’s Shelter of Charlotte. The Beardaversary celebrated the one-year growth of, yes, a beard. It featured music by Justin “Aswell” from Mr. Invisible and Arthur Bros. from Aspyr Music & Culture Initiative.
