LaCa celebrated the opening of its new exhibit featuring installations by Jeannine Marchand. The Puerto Rican artist with North Carolina ties (she lives in Spruce Pine) builds her artwork around the idea of environment. Using folds, creases, twists and voluptuous overlap she addresses space, architecture and environment in her works. (Photos by: Mert Jones)
