Are you a nightlife aficionado who knows the Charlotte scene pretty well? How about taking part in a poll over on our sister site The CLog, where we ask the question: Do you think clubs, bars and lounges in Uptown Charlotte are racist toward black patrons?

Here’s the tally right now.

  1. Myself and 3 other friends were trying to get in to club “margarine”. We were well dressed and had even reserved a table in advance. The doorman said that we had no girls with us and that they didn’t want our kind so we should take our business elsewhere.

  2. Funny how CL is asking if clubs in town are racist and they have their “best of” event at Butter, the most racist club in town.

  3. Imma have to say yea & it seems covered up in the form of dress codes and club/venue policy. I understand a place having rules and adhering to them, but when Im singled out (even when Im following them OR not the only one who isnt), then in all honesty Im gonna feel some type of way abt it.
