ArtFusion: Bearing Witness
Discover the power of documentary photography in the Bearing Witness: The New York Photo League and Sonia Handelman Meyer exhibit. Learn about these artists of the '40s and '50s. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet and view works by Charlotte photographers, including Franklin Castro, Sandra Guynes and Odell Guynes with Pearls for Creative Healing, Rebecca Ham, Eboni Lewis, Tonya Jameson and Lashawnda Becoats of Darling Media Group, Kevin Shank, and José Vázquez. There will also be live jazz music from the Tenya Colemon Trio, a cash bar, and hands-on activities inspired by the themes and style of the New York Photo League.
